Hello and welcome!
Teaching is a tough job, isn't it?! It can be hard staying on top of all the millions of things we have to do, as well as making sure our lessons are always inspirational and engaging for our students! If you're a teacher with a passion for self-reflection and well-being in both your students and yourself, then we're kindred spirits and you're in the right place! Do any of these apply to you?
Then welcome to the party, you're on the VIP list! These are all the things I am passionate about and I want to help you solve these problems! The first step is to sign up to my newsletter which is filled with exclusive free resources and where we can really get to know each other so I can personally help you out. See you there! |
Want to know even more about me?
I'm honoured that you're interested! I'm Katie and I have been a secondary school teacher for 14 years with an enthusiasm for integrating technology and creativity into learning. I also have a passion for supporting students and teachers with personal development and well being. You can find specific ideas on teaching Character Education, Social-Emotional Learning, and Art and Technology Integration, via the blog at www.TeachersResourceForce.com. You can also discover free tips for teachers on productivity, well being, mindset and more on the Teach On Teach Strong podcast. My passion is to use my experiences in the classroom to share ideas and inspire you in your own teaching. The shape of the future depends on how we act now and we have a huge responsibility in moulding the future adults of this world to be good people - I want to do it right and I'm sure you do too. On top of covering curriculum of course, I do spend quality time building up the characteristics of my students as I feel it's so significant and terribly underrated: there are some things learning facts just can't teach you, and being a caring, resilient, confident person is one of them. I weave these skills within my regular lessons such as via the use of self-reflective exit tickets as well as via lesson topics that deal with life skills and character education. I'm all about ensuring my lessons connect with the new generation with up-to-date resources relevant to the world they are growing up in: you can check out some of my modern teaching resources here! I use social media, emojis, modern lingo and current topics to hook and engage students: |

However, as teachers we are important too! We can often feel underrated and underappreciated with more and more being piled up on our plates every year...
Because of this, another huge passion of mine is teacher well-being and making sure we take the time to look after ourselves too. Be sure to check out my blog regularly as I often share my musings and tips on how we can improve our own well-being and health as teachers. When I'm not teaching, I love to snuggle my kitties, drink lots of green tea, and watch movies at the cinema where I can really switch off! I also have a huge passion for art and design: I draw all my own illustrations for my resources and website and I have most of these available for download so you can use them too if you like them! I hope you enjoy browsing my website and picking up some cool, compelling and creative ideas to incorporate into your teaching, as well as some tips to make your life as a teacher run a little smoother! It warms my heart knowing my resources and ideas can inspire teachers and students all over the world, and that will only happen through you so thank you for being here and for your support! I'd love to know more about you and what you'd like to see from me, so please drop me a private email at TeachersResourceForce@yahoo.com - I'd love to hear from you!
