It's almost 2015, so I'll say happy new year to you!
Following my previous post when I set myself some new year's resolutions, I want to encourage you to get your students to do some self reflection as well when you go back to school next week!

It's one thing asking them to just "set new year's resolutions" and quite another to guide them through the process of self reflecting on different areas of their lives. To make this easier for you and more fun for your students, I have created a Back from Winter Break: New Year's resource!
Click on either of the images above to be taken to where you can download this resource! These are a great way to start the new year in January, and they can be completed in lesson as dictated by you / chosen by them, or they could be a homework task as well.
You could encourage them to share their responses to these activities with the class and even team up with people who have similar resolutions who can support each other in achieving them all year long!
So I hope you and your students enjoy reflecting on the new year with these activities! May you all have a wonderful and blessed year - roll on 2015!
