So, March is here and it is that time again where we appreciate the awesome Women of the World and their contribution to society! Here are a couple of ideas you can incorporate into your classroom to celebrate these women!
Every year there is a new theme and new selection of women to celebrate. This year in 2015, we have the theme of "weaving the stories of women's lives". I have created a clip art set of the chosen women below (in the Rosie the Riveter pose of course!). These look awesome on a bulletin board too, as they add that little something extra rather than just photos - the kids love them!
I've also got a great teaching resource for you for researching these women! Your students can research all about them and complete these printables in lessons or for homework:

- Creating a blog post about one, some or all of the women (if you want a ready made blog template your students can use, click here!)
- Design a bulletin board in your room in groups based on one, some or all of the women and then have a class vote. The winning group then need to put it up!
