Many of us grew up with voices around us telling us what we can or can't achieve in life; some of these voices came from our very own teachers... In this episode I share with you a personal story from my own classroom where my students inspired this message that encourages us all to believe in our own goals and if something doesn't work out, we learn to adjust the plan, not the dream.
A new year always gets us motivated and excited to start fresh and set new goals for ourselves. But what about when that buzz wears off? You don't have to wait for January 1st in order to start something new. Listen to this episode to keep you fired up to keep working on improving your life or the lives of those around you, each and every day.
As we wrap up 2017, we're likely to be thinking about setting goals for 2018. However, there's a sad reality that most people don't keep to their goals or new year's resolutions. In this episode we explore some of the pitfalls people fall into when goal setting and I share some different strategies I have in how to effectively set and actually achieve your goals.
This episode is something different. I'm reflecting on my challenges as a teacher coming up to the end of 2017 and how I can sometimes feel like school is taking the best of me leaving me very drained in the evenings. I share some mindset shifts I have been going through to try and combat these feelings through what I am calling a "podlog". Listen to find out more!
It's that time of year when we're starting to think about setting goals for the next year and making plans to better our lives. Unfortunately, so many of us fail to stick to our resolutions because we are missing the second two steps of the process! In this episode we discuss all 3 steps to achieving your goals and I share some ideas for outstanding habits you can instill in your daily routine to ensure you have a healthier and happier life as a teacher.
Today's episode I encourage you to be clear on what your goals are for your life both personally and professionally and I share with you some actionable steps to help you move forward in the right direction. In order to make progress in our goals we need to make some sacrifices, if not then our dreams become the sacrifice. As teachers we often sacrifice so much for our job, so in this episode I encourage you to find balance, achieve your goals and continue to fulfill your full potential.

LISTEN. LEARN. TEACH.
The Teach On, Teach Strong Podcast is all about providing FREE personal development for teachers!
Firstly let's put this out there:
I am not a guru. I am not a life coach. I AM A TEACHER just like you - sharing lessons I am learning in my teaching journey.
Why you need this podcast: Success can be broken down into 20% skill and 80% mindset. We have plenty of support for professional development (20% skill) but I've found that support for personal development (80% mindset), is lacking for us teachers - UNTIL NOW!
This podcast is a movement to support teachers, by helping develop your character and personal mindset, so you can be the best teacher you can be!
Tune in every week, to provide you with all you need to teach on and teach strong every day, and continue to make a difference to the lives of young children.
