What is personal development anyway, and why do we need it? Like many other teachers, I had a rocky start to my journey and had to learn (and am still learning!) many lessons the hard way. What I am certain of, is that personal development - the pursuit of your expanding full potential - is the absolute key to success in teaching and life. It is what keeps us going through the hard times and what enables us to be the best role model we can be to others. In this episode I share with you the importance of our journey of personal development and how your impact on the world can be so much greater than you ever dreamed it could be.
In the world of education, things are always changing; sometimes for the good and sometimes not. In this episode we discuss the differences between something that is worth fighting for and something that we need to just say " it is what it is" and move on to more productive conversations. Things change that are sometimes out of our control; we have to learn to adapt or lose.
