Is there such thing as a toxic work environment? I think we can all agree that's a definite yes... How do you know when your school is toxic? Is the same school toxic for everyone in it or do some people thrive where others might wilt? We discuss all this and more in this episode titled "how to know when it's time to teach in another school"!
Sometimes many teachers get "stuck" working in the same place. Maybe it's fear that prevents them from leaving or maybe they can't find employment elsewhere yet. But what can happen after a while, is they start to believe that this is just how teaching is and that's that. But I don't want you to fall in this trap! Not all schools are the same and it is important you work in an environment in which you can thrive and be the teacher you have always wanted to be. The right school is out there for you, you just need to take the first step and identify what that looks like. In this episode we discuss how you can start to do that and take the right steps to get you there.
